Oasis, a Zombie Novel
The Story
Someone has developed a devastating virus. One that has the power the kill the brain and take command of the body. Terrorists have unleashed it on the small desert town of Oasis. Something has knocked out the power grid. The government has quarantined the city, but is not sending aid, and nobody can understand why. Oasis is the story of one man's struggle against the chaos that blankets the city.
The Hero
Oasis is seen through the eyes of Corbin St. Laurent. He's an emergency room nurse with a will to survive, a little attitude, and the worst luck imaginable. Sure, he's cool under pressure, but how much punishment can one man take?
The Villan
Well, I suppose the thousands of shuffling, slowly decaying zombies probably count...
But where'd the terrorists get the virus?
The Problems
Hunger, thirst, fatigue, lack of safe shelter, a teenage hussy, one unstoppable virus, and hordes upon hordes of infected men & women.
